Bateman BYPASS GRAPPLES are sever duty Power Grabs designed to fit over large bails or cars, for crusing and tamping.  The oversized rotator and fully guarded cylinders provide increased grapple life in severe duty applications.  The rotator provides powerful 360° continuous rotation.

Bateman BYPASS GRAPPLES come equipped with Bateman's Severe Duty Rotator with internal hydraulic relief.  They are available with pin-on yokes, direct lugging, or for use with a quick coupler.  All Bypass grapples are supplied with Jumper Hoses.

Crushing + Flattening

• The jaws, when closed, form a large tamping area for crushing and flattening material.

Moving and Stacking Cars and Bails

• The jaws, when opened, fit over stacked crushed cars and finished bails, providing efficient handling and stacking

• Available with a 30” Durable Magnet for better efficiency
• Magnet cables are fully protected by grapple body
• The magnet provides excellent clean up of ferrous metals, while the jaws pick up larger items such as rail ties, making this attachment ideal for railroad sites
